Thursday, August 8

Virginia hip-hop artist McKinley Dixon will be in town to promote their latest studio album Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!? with support from Floyd Zion.
Friday, August 9
Foo Fighters, The Hives @ BMO Stadium (3939 South Figueroa St.)
Doors: 4 p.m. (tickets)
Foo Fighters will have a two-night stint at BMO Stadium in support of their latest album But Here We Are, which is the band's first album since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Friday's show will feature support from The Hives and Amyl and the Sniffers.
PACKS, Kisskadee @ Scribble (5541 York Blvd.)
Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets)
Canadian indie rock band PACKS will head to Scribble in support of their latest studio album Melt the Honey. Los Angeles' Kisskadee will be the opening act.
Saturday, August 10
Gym Class Heroes @ Pershing Square (532 S Olive St.)
Doors: 3 p.m. (RSVP) 21+
Gym Class Heroes will be in Los Angeles for a free concert at Pershing Square with a surprise special guest. While RSVPs are open, a guaranteed ticket to the event will be $10. Gym Class Heroes are best known for their hit singles "Cupid's Chokehold," "Stereo Hearts," and "The Fighter."
Sunday, August 11
Protest The Hero @ 1720 (1720 E. 16th St.)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets)
Canadian prog metal band Protest The Hero will bring their Volition 10th anniversary tour to 1720 with special guests '68, Greyhaven, and Authors of Fate. Released in 2013, Volition is Protest The Hero’s highest charting album in the U.S. with its debut at number 20 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Foo Fighters, The Pretenders @ BMO Stadium (3939 South Figueroa St.)

Foo Fighters' second show at BMO Stadium will feature support from The Pretenders and Alex G.
Chris Kirkpatrick, O-Town @ Pershing Square (532 S Olive St.)
Doors: 3:30 p.m. (RVSP) 21+
The Pop 2000's Tour takes over Pershing Square for a free concert featuring performances from Chris Kirkpatrick, O-Town, The Calling, and LFO. While RSVPs are open, a guaranteed ticket to the event will be $20.
QT’s Presents… JOY @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)
Doors: 6:45 p.m. (tickets)
UCB’s first all trans/gender nonconforming/non binary improv team QT’s will deliver a grand improv show based on memories from the audience. The cast for this show includes Alex Song-Xia (they/them), Ally Beardsley (they/them), Chris Renfro (they/them), E.R. Fightmaster (they/them), Jiavani (she/him), Joan Ford (she/her), Jordan Myrick (they/she), JZ Zepeda (they/them), Krys Tabujara (they/them), Lyndsey Frank (they/them), Nick Tiffany (they/any pronouns), Ruha Taslimi (they/them), Sara Caplan (she/her), and Vic Michaelis (they/she). The event will also be livestreamed for those who can’t attend the show but still want to see it go down. The livestream link will be live for one week following the show.
