With everything happening in the world, musicians have been doing their part to make things better. Through livestreamed concerts, fans can see their favorite acts from the comfort of their own homes. If you're in the mood for live music, these are the best livestreamed concerts taking place this week (December 21 - December 27).

Monday, December 21

The Ally Coalition 7th Annual Talent Show - 9 p.m. EST/ 6 p.m. PST (watch here)

The Ally Coalition’s 7th Annual Talent Show will make the jump to Twitch with special performances from Bleachers, Sleater-Kinney, and Hayley Williams. The event will be raising money for LGBTQ organizations such as BreakOUT!, BU Wellness Network, and Lost-n-Found Youth.

Wednesday, December 23

Glass Animals, Wallows, and Cold War Kids - 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST (buy tickets here)

Glass Animals, Wallows, and Cold War Kids will join forces to support Project SHINE with a special livestream. One dollar for every ticket sold will be donated to VolunteerMatch.org. In August, Glass Animals released their third studio album Dreamland, which debuted at number seven on the Billboard Top 200 chart. August also saw the release of Cold War Kids’ New Age Norms 2, which is the second part of a three-album trilogy. In October, Wallows unveiled their EP titled Remote, which was made during quarantine.

Phantom Planet - 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST (buy tickets here)

Phantom Planet will rock the house before Christmas arrives. In June, the band released Devastator, which is their first studio album in 12 years. The livestream will be available on-demand until December 26 at 6 p.m. PST.

Thursday, December 24

Festmas: Christmas Eve Holiday Special - 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST (watch here)

A slew of punk acts will take over Christmas Eve with The Fest's special holiday event. Broadway Calls, War on Women's Shawna Potter, and We Are The Union are among those set to perform. The event will be free to watch on Social Distance Party’s Twitch channel. The Fest will return next October with performances from Gorilla Biscuits, Murder By Death, and Teenage Bottlerocket. Tickets for the event are available right now.

Saturday, December 26

Soul Asylum - 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST (buy tickets here)

Soul Asylum will hold a livestream concert inside Minneapolis's iconic music venue First Avenue. In April, the band released their 12th studio album Hurry Up and Wait. The band are best known for their hits "Runaway Train," "Misery," and "Promises Broken." The livestream will be available on-demand for 72 hours after the stream ends.
