While theaters are temporarily closed, improvisers have found a new home streaming on the internet. Through this venture, people from around the world can tune in to see these talented people tell amazing stories. Friday, January 29

The (Virtually) Improvised Musical (Magnet Theater) - 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST (watch here)

Some of New York City's best improvisers will deliver an exciting musical with The (Virtually) Improvised Musical. After taking a suggestion from the audience, the crew will create a slew of memorable musical numbers. The whole thing goes down on Magnet Theater's Twitch channel. While the show is free, you can donate money in their virtual hat.

SONDER: Roads Not Traveled (Impro Theatre) 11:15 p.m. EST/8:15 p.m. PST (watch here)

Sonder gives the typical improvised tale the podcast treatment. Through a suggestion, the cast will travel to an alternate reality where nothing is quite as it seems. You can donate to Impro Theatre here.

Saturday, January 30

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical Livestream - 2:30 p.m. EST/11:30 a.m. PST (buy tickets here)

The Showstoppers will bring their award-winning improvised act to a screen near you. Taking suggestions from the audience, the group will deliver an astonishing musical comedy. The link will be sent out two hours before the show starts.

Festpocalypse! - 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST (buy tickets here)

Beloved comedy/improv festival SF Sketchfest will go virtual this year for their fundraiser Festpocalypse! A slew of acts will be on hand for this event, including The Kids in the Hall, Upright Citizens Brigade, White Women, and The State.

Sunday, January 31

With Le Roundabout, improvisers from around the world get together to tell one wild story. This week's cast includes Jeremy Hanna, Jill Marie Hoffman, Roberto Lewis, Troy Anthony Miller, Paul Rogan, and Mageina Tovah.
