Swiss metal band Mycelia have unveiled the music video for their new single "In A Gas Station at the Outskirts of the Meth Desert" today.

The visual, which can be seen below, was directed by Theo Benjamin. Drummer Marc Trummer said this about the video/new track:

"This is the conclusion of a two-part musical short film which tells the story of In A Late Country. In a Gas station at the Outskirts of the Meth Desert takes a sharp narrative turn from In a Late Country’s storyline. While it retains the album’s sci fi-noir aesthetic and tone, it switches the protagonists’ friendship on its head as their odyssean search for a missing woman takes a darker turn… who murdered Ava Kessler? The focus on the twists and turns of a friendship lie at the core of this release, as friendship has always been one of the most important driving forces in Mycelia. In a Late Country touches upon a range of subjects, making the protagonists’ relationship a focal part of this video very fitting."

"In A Gas Station at the Outskirts of the Meth Desert" stems from Mycelia’s forthcoming concept album In A Late Country, which will be unveiled on September 16 via Eclipse Records. Pre-orders/pre-saves for the release can be made here.
