Star Citizen's CitizenCon 2951 will give Star Citizen fans major updates on the game this Saturday (October 9).

The one-day event will feature a slew of panels, announcements, and giveaways on the official Star Citizen Twitch channel. CitizenCon 2951 will also feature opening remarks from Cloud Imperium Games co-founder and Star Citizen creative and development lead Chris Roberts. All players will gain a Digital Goodies Pack, which includes a special suit and weapon and this year’s commemorative CitizenCon trophy.

Roberts said this about the forthcoming event:

“For all of us at CIG, CitizenCon is a revitalizing time when we celebrate with our community and get energized by their excitement for Star Citizen. We missed its presence last year and are glad to bring it back, even as an all-digital show.
