Prog rock outfit Polyphia will be touring North America this summer.

Announced yesterday, the trek will kick off on July 28 inside the House of Blues in Houston, and it’ll conclude with a performance at Come and Take It Live in Dallas on September 3. Joining them on the trek as support are German prog metal band Unprocessed and alternative hip hop act Death Tour.

Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (May 13) at 10 a.m. local time.

To coincide with the announcement, Polyphia dropped a new single titled “Playing God.” An accompanying music video, which was directed by Caleb Young of Hand Crank Films, can be seen below. “Playing God” is available on digital services right now via Rise Records. This is the band’s first new material since 2019. The band’s last studio album was 2018’s New Levels New Devils.
