Photos: Animé Los Angeles 19 brought anime joy to Long Beach Convention Center
Since its inception back in 2005, Anime Los Angeles has become the premier anime event in Los Angeles every winter. Over the weekend, the beloved convention continued that tradition with Anime Los Angeles 19.
Taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center, the four-day event drew a massive crowd from all over California and beyond. The Dealers Room/Artist Alley was packed with folks looking to add something new to their collection whether it was a new print or figure.
The Main Stage delivered some major events throughout the weekend, including the Los Angeles debut of Broken By The Scream, the ALA Fashion Show, and Cosplay Deviants' cosplay contest. Aside from the events at the Main Stage, the convention also had some exciting activities such as Foam Fighters, which allowed attendees to have battles with foam items, and K-pop Random Play Dance, which let attendees show off their favorite K-pop dance moves.
Our photos from the event can be seen below. Anime Los Angeles 20 will take place next January at the Long Beach Convention Center. More information about the event will be revealed soon here.
