Noah Kahan and mxmtoon team up for live video of "Pride"
Noah Kahan and mxmtoon unveiled the live video of their song “Pride” yesterday.
Released back in October, “Pride,” which was produced by Alexander23, has earned over three million Spotify streams. In a statement, Kahan said:
“Filming this video was special because it was the first time I had done anything besides sit in my dad’s barn since the pandemic hit. It was amazing to get a chance to perform again, to be under pressure, and to be in a room with more than two people. Working with Maia was amazing, she is super talented and just a great hang.”
mxmtoon said this about working on the video:
“It was such a pleasure to be able to sing with Noah for the acoustic performance of ‘Pride.’ With a safe 8 feet distance between us, I got to sing a song live for the first time in months thanks to this video! Nothing is quite like being able to make music with another person, and it was all the more fun because it was “Pride.’”
Back in May, Kahan released the Cape Elizabeth EP, which was recorded during the coronavirus. mxmtoon unveiled two EPs this year: Dawn and Dusk.
