No Devotion (Thursday, ex-Lostprophets) announce new album 'No Oblivion,' release new song "Starlings"

No Devotion, which features Thursday vocalist Geoff Rickly and former members of Lostprophets, gave a release date for their highly anticipated new album yesterday.

Titled No Oblivion, the record will be released on September 16 via Velocity Records. The first single from the record titled “Starlings” comes with a music video, which can be seen below.

Pre-orders for No Oblivion can be made here. For the album’s vinyl release, the band did something many wouldn’t think about doing:

“We wanted to do something special to commemorate No Oblivion and Geoff took the lyric sheets from when he wrote the songs and ceremoniously tore them up once the songs were committed to tape. We then took these shredded papers and placed them inside the first 50 manufactured vinyl records. Some bands put a lyric sheet inside a record cover but No Devotion has put the lyrics inside the actual record. Thank you to Third Man for facilitating this for us.”

This week, No Devotion will finish their mini-trek across the Northeast with performances in Baltimore and Cambridge. Tour dates can be seen below.
