New Jersey's Kogaracon makes in-person return this Saturday at Middlesex College
Kogaracon will have its first in-person event since 2019 this Saturday.
The one-day event will take over Middlesex College for some anime fun. Guests slated to appear at the convention include cosplayer StarDust Megu, artist Shauna Grant (Mimi and the Cutie Catastrophe, Mimi and the Boo-Hoo Blahs), and voice talent Gregory Abbey (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Vincent Corazza (Sailor Moon, Kingdom Hearts). Kogaracon will also feature musical performances from Kylie McNeill, Can’t Dance Crew, Dominic Palombi’s Game Night, Eternal Hoshi, and StarDrop Music. A full list of guests can be found here.
Aside from guests, there will be plenty to do throughout the day with activities for everyone. Illustrious Cards & Games will have trading card tournaments for Pokémon, Digimon, One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh! The convention’s first-ever Asian Food Fest will deliver a slew of delectable Asian-inspired food. A list of food vendors available can be found here. Tickets for Kogaracon, which runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., can be purchased at the door for $10. Current Middlesex College students, staff, and faculty can attend for free. Children under the age of six can also attend for free. Middlesex College is located on 2600 Woodbridge Ave in Edison, New Jersey.
