New Jersey indie-punk band Well Wisher unveiled the music video for their new single “Panic” yesterday.

The visual, which can be seen below, was shot by Jenna Murphy and directed and edited by Well Wisher vocalist Natalie Newbold, who said this about the track:

“One of the first songs on the new LP that we all loved and sort of used as a guiding light for the rest of the album was “Panic”. There was a special connection to it that melded all of our influences flawlessly, and we have a blast playing it together. The song explores the roller-coastering struggles with mental health and feeling beyond drained and angry with how it can hold you back and captive. Being someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression since I was about 3- or 4-years-old made writing this one super cathartic.”

“Panic” comes from Well Wisher’s forthcoming studio album That Weight, which drops on September 16 via Egghunt Records. Pre-orders for the 12-track album can be made here.

Leading up to the album’s release, Well Wisher will be performing throughout the Northeast. Tour dates and tickets can be found here.
