The forthcoming Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM film will have two theatrical premiere screening events in America.

Revealed yesterday, the film will have subbed screenings in Los Angeles’ Regal LA Live and NYC’s Japan Society on March 31. Both screenings will come with special guests; the Los Angeles screening will have Soichiro Hoshi (Voice of Kira Yamato), Rie Tanaka (Voice of Lacus Clyne), Michael Sinterniklaas (NYAV Post Studio Owner & Dub Producer), and Stephanie Sheh (English Voice of Lacus Clyne, Casting Director, and Dub Producer) while the NYC screening will feature a special comment video from Director Mitsuo Fukuda and a brief talk show session featuring Alyson Leigh Rosenfield (English Voice of Lunamaria). A dubbed screening will also take place on April 1 at NYC’s Japan Society.

Tickets for both L.A. and NYC screenings will go on sale to the general public next Tuesday (March 12) at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST. Standard tickets will include a commemorative pass, lanyard, Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice paper headbands, and special Shopper bag. Premium tickets will include everything included with a standard ticket alongside a commemorative art print, an illustration card, and a HG 1/144 STRIKE FREEDOM GUNDAM model kit. The dubbed screening on April won’t feature any gifts from the standard and premium tickets.

Released in Japan back in January, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM has become the highest-grossing Gundam film ever with 2.68 billion yen earned ($17.94 million). More information about Mobile Suit Gundam can be found here.
