Ming-Na Wen added to L.A. Comic Con 2021, early bird one-session passes available now

Ming-Na Wen is the latest guest to be revealed for L.A. Comic Con 2021.

Announced yesterday, the actress will head to the convention on Saturday, December 4 for autograph/photo ops sessions and a panel. The actress is best known for her portrayal of Fa Mulan in Mulan, Melinda May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian. They recently earned the highest honor possible in Hollywood as a new Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree.

Comikaze Entertainment (L.A. Comic Con’s parent company) CEO Chris DeMoulin said this about the new addition:

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Ming-Na Wen join L.A. Comic Con for the first time! She is a terrific actress with great range and is the only person we know who has been a Disney Princess, a kick-ass Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, and a feared Star Wars bounty hunter and assassin. For fans of The Mandalorian, having Ming-Na and Giancarlo Esposito both at the show is just awesome.”

Early bird one-session passes for L.A. Comic Con 2021 are on sale right now. Each one-session pass will last five hours. When it comes to this new ticketing for the convention, DeMoulin said:

“There are really two reasons for the one-session passes. First, we do not know what attendance or crowd density restrictions the LA Dept. of Public Health may have in place in December, so we need to plan ahead for that. And second, our guest research shows that the average fan comes to the show for about five hours, so choosing either morning or afternoon will reduce crowding for everyone. For fans who want more, we have 3-session passes, and will have other session upgrades available closer to the show. Also, keep in mind that each one-session pass comes with a free password for the digital streaming for the other half of that day – so you can catch any panels you want to see from the other half of the day on your phone or laptop.”

If things clear up, L.A. Comic Con can decide to convert all 1-session passes to 1-day passes and all 3-session passes to 3-day weekend passes. L.A. Comic Con 2021 is slated to take place from December 3 through December 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
