Metric release new single "What Feels Like Eternity"

Canadian indie rock band Metric unveiled their new single "What Feels Like Eternity" yesterday.
The single comes with a music video produced by Metric vocalist Emily Haines and directed by Justin Broadbent. The visual can be seen below.
"What Feels Like Eternity,” which is out on digital services, stems from Metric’s forthcoming studio album Formentera, which will be released on July 8. Guitarist and Formentera co-producer Jimmy Shaw said this about the new album:
“We had been living in our imaginations for a long time, because we couldn’t physically go anywhere else. When you listen to the album from beginning to end, you start with this immediate feeling of tension building, of being stuck in a loop, and then there’s this intense release that happens… you’re swept off your feet into the title track ‘Formentera’ and it’s like you escaped.”
