Hunter Hayes releases new singles “Victory” and “About a Boy”
Grammy-nominated artist Hunter Hayes is prepping for the release of their new album Red Sky, and today, they delivered two new songs: “Victory” and “About a Boy.”
Hayes said this about both songs, which can be heard below:
“‘Victory’ is the final song on the 'Red Sky' track listing because it’s an appreciation for all the parts of your past that made you who you are today. It is a celebration of growth. This song sums up 'Red Sky' as a chapter and makes a commitment to move forward with a new outlook.
‘About a Boy’ is about the challenge of accepting mistakes and confronting regret, while also acknowledging what you could’ve done better. It’s written from several different perspectives and goes from recognizing that someone deserves better, to offering apologies for what you wish you could change.”
Red Sky, which follows Hayes 2019 studio album Wild Blue (Part I), is slated for an April 21 release. Vinyl pre-orders can be made here.
Hayes will be supporting the album on tour across the United States this spring. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
