South London indie rock trio Honeyglaze have announced their signing to Speedy Wunderground today.

To celebrate the announcement, the act have released their new single “Burglar,” which is out on digital services right now. The track’s accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by Alex Evans. Honeyglaze said this about the new cut/video:

“Burglar is based around a Bukowski poem. It feels like being half-awake before dawn and waiting alone for the clarity of morning. It drifts between calm and anxiety, between dream and consciousness.

In the same vein as the lyrics, the video isn’t a story so much as a recreation of hypnagogia, a place between sleep and wakefulness. It was inspired by the Maya Deren film, “Meshes of the Afternoon”. Confusion, anxiety and fear build as the shadows of sleep paralysis become just as real as the material world.”

Speedy Wunderground’s Pierre Hall said this about the label’s new signing:

"We’re so excited to announce Honeyglaze as our next proper signing to the label. We were blown away as soon as we heard their music, and then furthermore when we met them in person. It’s felt like such a natural partnership and they’ve created something really special. We can’t wait for the world to hear. Be prepared to fall in love."

Honeyglaze will have a slew of shows across the U.K. in the following weeks. Their show schedule can be seen below.
