Greek alternative metal band Vonavibe unveiled the music video for their single "Left for Dead” today.

The visual, which can be viewed below, was directed by Peggy Psarrou. Vocalist/guitarist Dyon said this about the single and video:

“Earth and mankind’s actions regarding the environment have always been a major issue the last decades, especially among artists. Taking into consideration the song’s meaning we set out to find an environment that could accommodate this narrative. This is how the idea of shooting a video within a home took place. A home is something sacred, much like our planet. Taking it and transforming it, with the help of our friends, into something cold was the best recipe for achieving the perfect metaphor. Left For Dead is a song about Earth’s perception regarding human actions. The way humans have taken over a place, a planet, a home and have feasted upon its resources.

The video is purely a resemblance, full of metaphors. Vonavibe represents humanity, while Grandma is The Earth and the house is its habitat. Vonavibe have taken over and transformed it into something dark and unearthly with hints of light occurring from time to time. Yet the earth sits quietly, perhaps with a cup of tea, knowing that no matter what, Earth will always prevail. Humans are merely guests…”

“Left For Dead” comes from Vonavibe’s new studio album Bleed to Life, which is out on Eclipse Records right now.
