Glare announce debut album 'Sunset Funeral,' release new single "Guts"
Alternative rock band Glare will deliver their debut studio album this April.
Revealed today, Sunset Funeral will drop on April 4 via Deathwish Inc. and Sunday Drive Records. The 10-track album was recorded and mixed by Phillip Odom with mastering done by Will Yip. The first single from the record titled “Guts” comes with a music video by Derek Rathbun, which can be seen here. Pre-orders for the album can be made here.
The band said this about the new single:
"‘Guts' is about an all consuming love. One that’s exciting and new it makes you feel anxious. A love that feels like it could last an eternity. The song had several iterations before it was finalized. Months after getting the final mixes back, the lyrics were reworked and vocals were rerecorded. It’s a special song for us because we mulled over the tone, trying to get it right."
Glare will embark on a mini-trek in the Northeast this week before touring the U.K. next month. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
