Giovannie and The Hired Guns announce new album 'Tejano Punk Boys' and U.S. summer tour

Texan rock band Giovannie & The Hired Guns will be quite busy this summer.

Announced yesterday, the band will unveil their new studio album Tejano Punk Boys this July. A new single from the release titled “I Don’t Mind” comes with a Tim Cofield-directed music video, which can be seen below. Vocalist Giovannie Yanez said this about the new song, which is out on digital services right now:

"’I Don’t Mind’ is a song about temptation, and how sometimes the temptation becomes too strong to resist. The video came to me one day after watching Den of Thieves. I thought it would be nuts to do a bank robbery video, but throw my own little spin on it. I feel like we made a real fun video with all the essentials. Fast cars. Check. Women. Check. Guns. Check."

The band will be promoting the forthcoming release with a trek across the United States. The entire tour routing can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
