German dreampop artist Thala has announced their signing to Fire Records today.

To celebrate the announcement, the artist has unveiled the single "You Had 2," which touches upon a distant childhood figure. The single can be heard below.

Thala said this about signing with the record label:

“I am super excited to announce I have signed with FIRE for this next chapter of my musical journey. They are the best and really get who I am, and even moreso understand who I wanna become!  I have never been more proud of anything I have ever done in my life to this date. Fact. And I can’t wait to share it with you.”

Thala will make their way to SXSW later this month, and they’ll perform in the U.K. in May. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now. “You Had 2” is on digital services right now.
