Five panels to catch at PAX Online East 2021

PAX Online East will kick off tomorrow (July 15) with four days of exciting panels and gaming events for everyone. We look at five great panels working checking out during the online-only convention. All times listed are EST.

A panel of autistic gamers will come together to discuss how to shine bright as a dungeon master at the next TTRPG session. Dr. Jared Kilmer, Ph.D. (Director of Counseling Services, Game to Grow), Dr. Raffael Boccamazzo, PsyD (Clinical Director, Take This), Shawna Spain (Volunteer Coordinator, Game to Grow), Dr. Virginia Spielmann (Executive Director, STAR Institute), and Dr. Elizabeth D Kilmer (Director of Education and Training, Game to Grow) will be part of the discussion.

Game designers David Galindo (Vertigo Gaming Inc.) and Xalavier Nelson Jr. (Strange Scaffold) join forces with content creator Dorm (DormStreams) and Innersloth community director Victoria Tran to talk about one of the hottest topics in gaming: bathrooms. These four individuals will discuss what makes a videogame bathroom great while ranking some of their favorites.

Sometimes, gamers want to chill on an island with vibrant friends instead of engaging in a gunfight with hordes of foes. Games such as Animal Crossing and Calico have been a go-to for many looking for something wholesome. This panel will discuss why wholesome games will be here to stay for a long time. Soft Not Weak's Jenny Windom and Rejon Taylor-Foster, Code Coven's Francesca, Bunnyhug Games' Lu Nascimento, and content creator Kennedy R. will be part of the discussion.
