Electronic producer Tokyo Machine (Monstercat) will have a playable skin in Smite

Electronic producer Tokyo Machine will jump into the world of Smite next week.

Announced yesterday, Monstercat’s new collaboration with the popular MOBA will find the artist being a playable God skin for Loki. Portions of Tokyo Machine’s latest track “Galactical” will be used as various ability sounds. To make things sweeter for Tokyo Machine fans, the artist also delivered new voice lines exclusively for their skin.

Tokyo Machine said this about being part of the game:

"Voice acting has always been a bucket list item for me, and what better way to kick off my soon-to-be extremely successful voice acting career than being an actual character in SMITE! Loki was my first choice not only because his name basically sounds like "Toki" but also other reasons which I'll come up with one day I'm sure. On the real though, the team did an amazing job implementing the Tokyo Machine lore into the game, and I can't wait to lose every game as Toki Loki."

Starting on December 13, players can grab the Tokyo Machine skin via a Monstercat chest featuring an avatar, a jump stamp, and a loading screen based around the artist.

Smite is available to play on consoles and PC right now.
