Doom Eternal arrives on the Nintendo Switch on December 8

After a long wait, Nintendo Switch owners will finally get their hands on Doom Eternal.

Revealed today, the game will make its way to the Nintendo Switch on December 8. As expected, this port allows players to use the Switch’s gyro controls to aim. The Switch port was developed by Panic Button, who previously worked on the Switch ports of 2016’s Doom, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Rocket League. The official Switch trailer can be seen below. You can check out an FAQ about the forthcoming port here.

Released earlier this year, Doom Eternal became an instant success with three million digital copies sold by the end of March. In October, a standalone campaign titled The Ancient Gods - Part One was released. The second part of this standalone campaign will be released in the future. Doom Eternal has four nominations at The Game Awards, including Game of the Year and Best Score and Music.
