NYC rock band Daddy Long Legs have announced their new album today.

Street Sermons, which follows the band’s 2019 studio album Lowdown Ways, will be released on March 17 via Yep Roc Records. The 12-track album was produced by The Black Lips’ Oakley Munson at Old Soul Studios in Catskill, NY. The record features guest appearances from Wreckless Eric ("Nightmare" and "Silver Satin") and The Lovin' Spoonful's John Sebastian ("Ding-Ding Man”).

The title track (and opening track) from the album can be heard below. Vocalist Brian Hurd said this about the song:

“We were upset about a lot of things when we wrote this song and one thing that struck me was that there was a real lack of meaningful protest songs being written at the time so we decided to take matters into our own hands.”

Street Sermons can be pre-ordered here.

On March 10, Daddy Long Legs will hold their record release show at The Sultan Room in NYC. Tickets for this performance are on sale to the general public right now.
