Anime Expo 2024: Crunchyroll Industry Panel announcements
Today, Crunchyroll had their massive Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2024, and they delivered some big reveals.
When it comes to new acquisitions, Crunchyroll will bring Yakuza Fiancé (October 2024), Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You (January 2025), and Demon Lord, Retry! R (Fall 2024) to its services in the following months. Crunchyroll and Aniplex also revealed plans to adapt Korean web-novel turned webtoon Omniscient Reader, which is currently in development.
Crunchyroll also announced the return of shows Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE (TBA date), The Apothecary Diaries (season two gets 2025 release), BLUE LOCK (season two debuts in October 2024), Link Click: Bridon Arc (this winter), and Natsume’s Book of Friends (season seven debuts in October 2024). Fire Force Season 3 will also make its return to Crunchyroll with a two cour release; the first half arrives in April 2025 while the second half drops in January 2026. Prior to the Industry Panel, Crunchyroll announced that Blue Exorcist -Beyond the Snow Saga- and Blue Exorcist -The Blue Night Saga- will come to the service this fall, Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest Season 3 will debut this October, and Black Butler -Emerald Witch Arc- will make its way to the anime streaming service.
