3Teeth collaborate with Ho99o9 for new track “Paralyze”
Industrial metal act 3Teeth have joined forces with alternative hip hop duo Ho99o9 for their new single “Paralyze.”
Released today, “Paralyze” was co-produced by Doom composer Mick Gordon. This is the second time 3Teeth have collaborated with Ho99o9; in 2018, they unveiled the Lights Out EP before their co-headlining tour together. An accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by Michael Mendoza. This is the first taste of 3Teeth’s forthcoming studio album, which will be the follow-up to their 2019 album Metawar.
Alexis Mincolla said this about the new track:
“Everyone seems to be heading into a visionless future and unable to do anything about it. The paralysis seems to be contagious as we all know things have to change, but it seems easier to imagine the end of the world then it does actual change at this point. The media-induced tribalism keeps us in a gridlocked state of cultural schizophrenia as we continue to be trapped in the shadow of our progress. This song was aiming to reflect the frustrations and the horror that we all experience in our current state of waking sleep paralysis these days.”
Gordon, who is co-producing the new album, said this about working with 3Teeth:
“3TEETH are one of my favorite acts. They proudly fly their own unique flag. The new album charts course through the next stage of our vanity-led evolution as a species, and by that I mean the album is a world unto itself. I’m just stoked that these guys have allowed me along for the ride.”
Ho99o9 said:
“This is only the beginning of an incendiary snowball effect. The nuke is yet to come.”
3Teeth will be on the road this fall supporting Cradle of Filth. Their forthcoming tour dates can be seen below. “Paralyze” is on digital services right now.
